Safestor provides the broadest coverage and lowest premiums so you can have peace of mind knowing that your goods will be replaced should there be an unfortunate occurrence while they are in storage. Purchasing protection is optional. However, you are required to maintain insurance covering your goods for as long as they are in storage with us .

Safestor offers low-cost coverage packages designed specifically for your goods while stored in our facility. They also provide a convenient pay with your rent program, so there is no additional forms to fill out or to mail.

COVERAGE

Safestor offers you a choice of four protection levels:

$1,000, $5,000, $10,000 and $15,000

Safestor Covers Loss or Damage Caused by:

Fire
Smoke
Lightning
Hurricane
Tornado
Wind
Burglary - Must be visible signs of forced entry and a police report must be filed.
Hail
Earthquake
Building collapse
Explosion
Vandalism
Leaking water
Vermin

Items not covered:

Jewelry
Financial records
Currency
Deeds & documents
Works of art
Antiques
Securities
Stamps
Watches
Precious stones
Furs
Garments trimmed w/ fur
Motorized vehicles (licensed or not, such as motor scooters, ATVs, motorcycles, and/or lawnmowers)
No coverage for loss caused by or resulting from war, flood (or surface water), or climatic conditions like rust or mildew
